Are there outstanding teachers in your school or academy who are ready to develop their skills?
Becoming a Specialist Leader in Education (SLE) is a unique opportunity for experienced teachers to develop their leadership skills using their knowledge, experience and strengths to support other schools and teachers.
These enhanced skills will also be of benefit to the teacher’s own school.
The Government have uploaded an Application Guidance document for those interested in applying for SLE designation:
The SLE application deadline is Thursday, 24 March 2016.
We are offering a twilight development session designed to offer support to teachers thinking about applying for SLE status. The session will include:
- An overview and understanding of the SLE role
- SLE criteria and assessment process
- Guided reflection on relevant practical experience
The twilight session will take place on Tuesday, 8 March 2016 from 4.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. If you would like to attend this session please register using the form below.
